We had a delightful stay at Asbrandsstadir. The cottage had all the necessities, a spacious camping area, and great facilities for kids. The hosts made our experience truly special with a lovely breakfast, musical entertainment, and a tour of their farm. They were the most welcoming and helpful hosts we've ever encountered, ensuring we had a fantastic time. We felt like we got a true taste of "real Iceland" during our stay.

Spacious campsite for group gatherings, peaceful countryside setting, enjoyable hiking and nature sightseeing, helpful staff offering guided tours, cozy cottage with basic furnishings, and the nearest airport is Egilsstaðir. Cons: Who needs WiFi and curtains in a cottage anyway?

Our stay at Asbrandsstadir Cottage was incredible! The value for money was outstanding, the room was cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views all around. The staff treated us like family, giving us a warm welcome and providing excellent service throughout our stay.
The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location was dope, surrounded by killer mountains and stunning views. We had a blast exploring the nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. Plus, they had this sick activity room where we played pool and foosball all night long. It's the perfect spot for young party-goers like us to have a rad time!
The only thing we wished for was a banging music system at the cottage. We had some killer party vibes going on, but it would've been lit if there was a sick speaker system to blast our tunes.

I had a lovely stay at a cozy cottage in Vopnafjörður. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The area was beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views of the mountains and a peaceful river nearby. I even got to explore the farm and interact with the friendly animals. The homemade breakfast, featuring duck eggs, was a delicious treat. I would definitely recommend this place for a wonderful stay in the north east!

The kitchen was well appointed and the hosts were wonderful - they had great communication and were very accommodating. The shared kitchen and utility space was a great bonus, especially for doing laundry. This place made for an amazing base to discover more about the area. I can't say enough good things about it!
Nothing negative to say.
